Hounds Baseball ("we," "us") operates houndsbaseball.com and the Hounds Baseball mobile app. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, and phone number provided by parents, players, and coaches when creating an account or submitting a form.
- Player information: player name, date of birth, graduation year, positions, team, jersey number, uniform sizes, evaluations, stats, and coach notes, provided by parents and Hounds coaches.
- Activity information: field, cage, and weight room reservations, lesson and workout sign-ups, tryout registrations, umpire requests, orders, and other requests made through the app.
- Photos and videos uploaded by users or Hounds staff.
We do not collect precise location, and we do not sell personal information.
How we use information
To operate team programs, manage reservations and registrations, communicate schedules and announcements, track player development, and respond to questions. Player evaluations and profiles are visible only to the player's linked parents/guardians and authorized Hounds coaches and staff.
Children's privacy
Accounts are intended for parents/guardians, adult players, and coaches. Information about players under 13 is provided and managed by their parent or guardian or by Hounds staff. Parents may review, correct, or request deletion of their child's information at any time by contacting us.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that host and operate the app (such as our website and app platform and email delivery providers), when required by law, or to protect the safety of our players and families. Links to partner stores (such as team apparel and equipment retailers) take you to third-party sites governed by their own privacy policies.
Data retention and deletion
We keep information while your account is active or as needed to run our programs. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Menu → Settings → Delete Account, which deletes your account and associated personal data. You may also email us to request deletion.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no system is completely secure.
Changes
We may update this policy and will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
